OWNER & EMPLOYING REAL ESTATE BROKERTroy and Barb moved to Colorado in 2001, after attending Pepperdine University. Troy spent the first part of his career as a Firefighter/Paramedic and national paramedicine educator, serving the community they called home in Northern Colorado for 20+ years. Troy first got into real estate to further explore personal investment opportunities, but quickly realized that he had a passion for providing for others the personalized, "Fair Wage" service that he found to be lacking in the profession. For Troy, real estate is not about houses, but more about people. He strives to get to know his clients, and then help them find the right opportunity based on their wants and needs. He discovered that he could serve his community through providing a personalized service in real estate in addition to his service through paramedicine. His expertise lies in investment real estate, flips, and new builds. In starting Peak Impact Real Estate, he has achieved his goal in providing full service options including residential real estate, investment real estate, and property management. Having a family-run business is key to building trust in the partnership with new clients. In addition to real estate, Troy is also a professional musician and he and Barb bounce back and forth between their Capitol Hill and Puerto Rico homes.

BUSINESS PARTNER & EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTBarb and Troy have been in Colorado since 2001, spending most of their living up near Estes Park in the Rocky Mountains. They now travel between their homes in Capitol Hill and Puerto Rico. Barb has a BA in Liberal Arts and a BS in Nursing. She has an extensive background in business management, owning her own music business since 1999, as an Office Manager/Marketing Coordinator, and most recently in her nursing career as Operations Director of a new Urgent Care. She and Troy have dabbled with personal investment properties since 2010, which catapulted them into real estate. Together they have owned several short-term investment properties, rentals, and fix & flips, as well as building multi-family long-term investment properties. Barb handles a lot of the day-to-day details, as well as all of the marketing for Peak Impact Real Estate. Her philosophy on real estate is all about building relationships, and helping each and every client find the opportunity that best fits their needs, whether that is their forever home, short term rental/investment or a more long-term retirement investment. In addition to Real Estate, Barb is also a professional musician and is a remote nursing consultant on the side.
